Features and Benefits of EO Bite Type Fittings

On-site assembly
EO fittings can be assembled almost anywhere with just a few wrenches. Simple pre-set tools are available for stainless steel tubes. No additional equipment or machinery is needed.

Available sizes
Most EO fittings are available in 25 sizes from 4 to 42 mm tube OD. Additional adapters allow for optimal sizing of each individual line. This saves space and material costs.

Material
EO-bite type fittings can be used with most tube materials, such as high-grade and low-grade steel or stainless steel, copper, aluminum, or CuNiFe. Even plastic tubes such as nylon, polyurethane, PVC, or PTFE can be easily connected using additional support sleeves E.

Reduced tightening torque
All EO fitting nuts are coated with a highly effective lubricant. Less assembly effort helps prevent under-assembly, which is the most common reason for failure of these fittings.

Silver-plated nuts
Stainless steel nuts are provided with silver-plated threads (sizes 15L-42L, 12S-38S). The threads of smaller stainless steel nuts are treated with wax. Thread galling is eliminated, and the tightening torque is reduced by up to 40 percent. The EODUR treatment increases the speed and efficiency of assembling stainless steel fittings.

Wide range of configurations
EO fittings are available in over 50 configurations. Especially for adjustable fittings, there is a wide variety of banjos, adjustable elbows, or swivel combinations that allow for an optimal solution for every application.
